MGM RESORTS JAPAN

The first integrated resort in Japan is planned to be built in Yumeshima, Osaka, which the company will be operating. The plan took nearly 10 years before it was approved by authorities of various levels. AIA International actively sought and received the support for the project from major promoters in Japan which greatly streamlined the approval process.
NHK Enterprises
a subsidiary of NHK – the semi-governmental broadcasting station in Japan
In its archives, NHK had several classical concerts which had artistic as well as historical values that the broadcasting station filmed for telecast in Japan. Such concerts included the first visit of Herbert von Karajan to Japan with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in 1957. In order to make such content available to the future generations, the broadcaster decided to make such programs available as packages. Although the company had broadcasting rights, it did not have videogram rights. The videogram rights were cleared by AIA International with original artists, their successors or heirs who were often not easy to identify and locate. A special label for the materials, NHK Classical, was launched and over 40 titles were released on DVDs and Blu-ray discs. The releases were highly acclaimed and received prestigious awards from the music industry in Japan.
